Fruit salad is pretty wonderful all on its own. But we stumbled upon this recipe at Luminous Headquarters, and had to share it with the world. I could eat this *every night*. Cacao plus coconut, with a mild and low GI sweetener takes the fruit to a whole other flavor level. I highly recommend fresh cut pineapple and bananas. But feel free to try any fruit you may have lying around. Prepare yourself, fruit will never be same.
Cacao Dressing with Fruit Salad
1 Pineapple (cut into pieces)
2 Bananas (cut into pieces)
1 Tbsp Organic Cacao Powder
2 Tbsp Melted Coconut Oil
3 Tbsp Maple Syrup (or 2 Tbsp Coconut Sugar)
Please all cut fruit in a shallow bowl and set aside. Stir Cacao Powder, Melted Coconut Oil, and Maple Syrup together. Whisk thoroughly! Immediately drizzle sauce onto cut fruit. Devour!!
