Cacao Chia Pudding with Blackberries

Hey pals. It's Friday! We're pretty stoked about it. Downright celebratory. And usually, a celebration involves something deliciously sweet. I don't know about you, but I *love* my occasional (but maybe semi regular) low GI sweet treat. Also, superfoods superfoods superfoods! I mean why can't we make dessert amazing tasting and also spiked with some amazing for you nutrients? So in the spirit of sweets, but with a Luminous magic touch, I present: Cacao Chia Pudding with Blackberries. 

Note: This recipe requires advance preparation for the chia to gel. Make in the morning, for dessert at night! 

Cacao Chia Pudding with Blackberries

Cacao Chia Pudding with Blackberries

2 Cups Plant Based Milk (I prefer Almond Milk)
1/3 Cup Chia Seeds
3 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup (Increase or decrease according to taste)
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Cup Blackberries

Add all ingredients, except Blackberries to a bowl. Whisk together vigorously! The chia seeds should just start to absorb water. Cover bowl and leave in fridge for 3-4 hours, or overnight. Scoop into a bowl, and top with blackberries and your favorite whipped topping or yogurt.
